There are various spells and special abilities, that you can use to move an opponents model, even after they have moved... What I wondered is, can they be used to move a model OUT of combat?

Im pretty sure there is nothing that can cancel combats, except if the opposing model is killed or knocked out of range with a spell (knocked to the ground are still in combat).

What if you made a model in combat the target of a Sorcerous Blast?

That works. I think the question refers to spells such as command and compel :)

Command and compel, yes, I was also wondering about the Spectres ability to move troops... that sort of thing...

Pretty sure you stay in combat but everyone in the fight is knocked down.
