When to spend might using Heroic Channeling?

I want to use the Magical Power "Fury",
...does the might point get spent before or after casting the spell?

beforehand. you must declare heroics at the beginning of the relevant phase i.e. the movement phase.

You declare that you will be Heroic Channelling at the start of the move phase. You then expand the chosen heroes point of might and you may cast channelled versions of your spells.

Yep, as above, you declare that you are Heroic Channeling at the start of the phase after the roll for Priority. This means that there's potential for your spell caster to be charged/Immobilised etc. and so the Might is wasted. It's a gamble as with any other Heroic Action.
