We Know that with the new rules a bannerbearer may have a shield and a spear. But in Boromir's Banner Rule is clearly stated that Boromir can't have a shield or lance also. Does that mean that this is actually a Special Rule that overcomes the new core rule about banners, so that anyone with a banner can take a shield BUT Boromir? I mean, Can I have Boromir with Banner and Shield? |

Even though the model has to have a shield and banner, he is the only person who can't. It's the reason why he doesn't have the -1 to win. |

He can actually be modelled with a shield, but he can't benefit from it. Which is stupid. |

that goes a little off topic, but a Bannermen with spear does suffer the usual penalty when supporting, right? |
