If riders of Rohan don't count toward the bow limit then when upgraded to Westford Redshields do they become counted toward the bow limit?

No they don't. They are still a variety of rider of rohan just with a fight increase.

OK cool we ve been playing that wrong then Redshields will be a nice little ally for my dwarves
