Sorry to bother you with this question, maybe it's obvious.

If a Model starts it's turn knocked down, can it charge? We always played that you could not.

If a Model is charged while it is knocked down can it get up in it's Movement phase? We always played that you could not.

thanks!

Yes the model can charge, but it has to stand up.
Once a model is charged it can not move, even if the charger is compelled away.

Hello,
the way I unsterdand the rules is :

- A knocked down model can use half its movement to stand up. After that, the model can move normally.

- A model who is charged when knocked prone has to fight on the floor. The model cannot strike if it win the fight but can stand up instead.

Hope we play well, and hope it helps :)

thanks!

And another one:

I can't play a mounted Glorfindel and mounted Arwen in the same list right? because they haven't got an option to ride a normal horse just Asfaloth. And there can't be two of them..........

The guys above have given the correct answers but I just thought I'd chime in with a little extra note:

If you're knocked prone at the start of your move and you want to charge a terrifying enemy you have to test before you stand up. If you fail the test then you stay exactly where you were. I've seen a lot of people forget that over the years.

Hope it helps!

I was reading a tactica and the guy was saying how to kill Grima as the evil side. And he said the best way would be spells.

But as far as I understand Grimas rules:

1. Grima only works against Good Heroes so there would be no negative effects for an evil army.

2. Grimas defense special rule also only mentions Good Modells, so every Evil Modell could target him.

3. His deployment rule states he HAS to start as part as an enemy Warband so wouldn't he just be deployed and then just slaughtered be the enemy evil Warband because he has no special rule protecting him?

Am I wrong here?

And a second rule question:

Is there anything that prevents the combination of heroic march and a war drum?

The rules were originally written for red vs blue (good vs evil) games, but now that we so often play blue vs blue, the words 'good model' might as well be changed to 'enemy model', because it just means whoever you are playing against.

Not very well explained, but I hope you get the idea. Otherwise, as you said, he would only work against good models, which would make him pretty awful half of the time.

Yep, as LordElrond says, just substitute 'Good' for 'Enemy'.

As for the second question, no there is not, you can combine the two and fly across the table!
