Simple question. Horses count for points in Lords of Battle right? But how about for Malbeths save?

They are a friendly model so I'd say yes they would receive the save from foresight.

What's the wording on it? The Easterling Shaman Fury can be used to save horse and Khamul's fell beast because they are from the Easterling army. If it's just friendly warrior, then it would.

I imagine that malbeth approaches someone, pulls them aside before a battle and tells them about what will happen. Something like, "while near the tree when the orcs press upon us, beware the spearmen."

Now when he approaches a horse and whispers something to the hores, I can see the rider, "what about me?"

"You? You're dead. But dont worry, your horse will survive."
