So I know shields are available with plastic Galadrhim, said shields ( high elf ones as well), just look aweful on the metal Haldir's Elves. So my inquiry is to whether or not it would be acceptable to run them as such without actually attaching the shield to those beautiful models. All the swordsmen would be equipped with shield l. |

That's perfectly fine as long as you make it clear to your opponent at the start of the game who has what. |

Basically, everything is fine as long as the opponent can easily identify who is what. So, if you just say to your opponent that every elf with sword has a shield it will not be a problem. However, it can be a problem if you also field Galadhrim with elven blades: since there is no shield to show, it will be difficult for the opponent in the middle of the game to remember which ones have shield and which ones have 2-handed weapons. |

Well I don't ever really run elven blade on non hero elves. I appreciate the feedback, I should have speficifed in possibly a more tournament type of environment |

The same thing applies to tournament matches as well. If you want to be perfectly sure you can ask individual organizers I guess. But I run spears on things that aren't modeled with them and I have never had any major problems as a result. |
