Post subject:  Heroic actions while prone

I was playing a match the other day and a scenario came up which made me scratch my head.

Turn 1: Cave troll wins a combat and hurls a grim hammer through a warband knocking 7 fellow grim hammers prone.

Turn 2: Thorin calls heroic move. The prone grim hammers stand up and charge the troll.

Here is my question. If one is prone can they benefit from the heroic move? I know prone models cant charge, and at a cost of 1/2 their move they can stand up, but if they are on the ground when a heroic charge is called, can they stand up and charge (half their move value)? I don't see why they couldn't, but at the same time, given the nuances of SBG, I could see why they would be unable to charge as well.

I have never played any wargame while lying prone... surely it makes it hard to see the tabletop when you are sprawled on the floor? :)

LOL! I guess I should have said, if a model is prone can it benefit from heroic actions. In like fashion, if a hero is prone, can they call a heroic action?

Prone models can stand up by spending half their movement and act Like normal. I saw heroes call heroic moves while grounded to counter cavalry.
What do you mean with heroic charge? There is not such Action.
Anyway, prone models can benefit from/call heroics. They cannot charge if the Action called is the march, as usual.
