Interesting. I don't think there were any Legions of the White Hand lists in the top ten armies of this year's GT.

In my opinion it is rather pointless to compare LOME army lists as everyone uses allies anyway.

I'm not sure if you are right there The Horde Lord. Whenever I play with friends we just have our normal, no allies Gondor/Isengard armies. I'm not sure if I'm the only noob doing that but I think that in general, except in competetive batllles (maybe), people don't use that much allies actually.

I'm not sure you are right there Kili :) except for a couple of Isengard games, I think every game I've played has had alliances.

Actually, we use very few alliances as well but we play by modified LoME rules.

In tournaments, GTs, etc its hard to find army lists without allies.

With the new gunbad blacksheilds, you now have a cheaper drum, and can make enemy heroes be unarmed. Also you get lots of dudes.
