Overlimit

When i just play a general club or casual match i always find somethimes that we can go a few points over the limit. what do you think the limit should be and is it a good idea for things like tournaments? it does save reshuffling your whole army

Mos tof the time you can be a couple of points over for a friendly game, it's easy enough to say "just drop a spear or shield or two" but sometime's you don't have the figure...
On the whole though I would try to design an army that does not go over the limit, it's fine to have 3 less points in a friendly game after all, and then you don't have an advantage. For tournaments you absoloutely can not go over. Period.

Agreed. We are usually good about one or two points in friendly games. Yes you can often drop a piece of wargear but sometimes this creates more of a risk of confusion (all my Goblins have shields except one guy...and I think it's him...no wait...). Just ask you opponent in advance if possible, or when first setting up at the table otherwise.

If they seem a little unhappy with the overage, maybe you can make a table rule where if one player is over then the other player gets a bonus of the same amount to the first Priority roll of the game? You're over by 2 points, let him have +2 on that roll.

The priority bonus is a good one, but how about any priority roll in the game? I don't find priority that important in the first turn. If it was any priority roll, people would be less likely to go over

Agreed. But I think you mean "Any ONE Priority roll in the game" (like a weak Palantier). Not EVERY Priority roll. Being able to say "Yeah, I think I'll take that +3 on my roll now" when you really need to win it on Turn 5 would be nice.
