So, i have one set of KOMT and warg riders each. they both had a battle and the wargs destroyed the knights. since the wargs have 2 attack and the knights only 1. even though the wargs have lower defence and fight value it dosent make a differance on the wound chart. is that fight just an unequal fight, or is there some advantage for the knights? |

Somebody isn't reading the rules... Both are cavalry models with 1 attack. They get an extra attack if they have charged infantry, plus knockdown if they win the fight. If they have charged infantry, and are counter-charged by cavalry, they lose these bonuses. If they charge each other, they each only get 1 attack. Wargs have S4, but KoMT have lances, which are better on the charge. KoMT have higher D. So the odds are with whoever charges. |

Curious where you saw that. Was it just a general statement, or did they specify "when charging infantry"? |

Perhaps he means that the warg had one attack and so did the rider. |

Well yeah thats what he meant. but he thought they both added together to give the warg rider 2 attacks which they don't, You get to pick if you want to use the wargs strength, fight value and attacks or the riders strength, fight value and attacks. but you can use the strength of the warg and the fight value of the rider if you want. Im pretty sure im right if im wrong correct me |

And you can combine them (i.e, use the riders fight and the mount's strength). |

I know i may go off-topic, but if a rider mounting a warg dies and the warg passes its courage test, is it still considered a cavalry model that benefits of extra attack and knock down ability when charging infantry? |

No. It doesn't have a rider, so it can't be cavalry. |
