I have already seen (and played one game of) Whafrog's By the Book project, so share your houserules that you want everyone to see. Here are ours:

We have never used LOME, but instad play with factions. We also use a 10% rule rather than the model limits in the book.

Our factions are:

Mordor
Harad
Rhun and Khand
Gondor
Erebor
Dol Guldur
Mirkwood
Rohan
Isengard
Lothlorien
Misty Mountains
Kazadh-Dum
Angmar
Arnor
Grey Company
Western Elves
Army of the Dead (added after they became truly playable with ability to buy equipment and cavalry)

It's allowed to Ally, but the armies are not allowed to interact in regards to spear support, banner support, shooting through friends, heroic actions (excluding fitght) and stand fast!.

EDIT: In addition it's every allied contignent has to have a point limit ending with 00, so if a contigent is 697 points, you loose 3 pionts.

I have a pretty comprehensive set of house rules that I haven't really finished modding yet. A few more games and I'll post it here. Mostly just has to do with balancing point wise.

Does anyone have a house rule regarding Frodo wearing "The Ring"?

Model limit is 10% of point limit.

Ice Queen: I believe there are real rules for that if that's what you mean.

I have read the GW The Ring rule, but I would not mind reading about house rules in regards to wearing the ring.

I don't think anyone here HAS a houserule for the Ring, except maybe that Sam can use it in certain cases.
