This project is loosely based on improving the old Battle Companies rules for SBG which if you don't know what they are were a skirmish campaign system much like Mordheim and Necromunda were for Warhammer and 40K respectively. However, we haven't limited our scope to just updating the current rules - we are trying to build an in-depth and immersive game that will enhance the LotR SBG landscape.

We are currently seeking more members to join our Fellowship of the Rules. We will have fortnightly areas of focus. However any member is able to focus soley on the aspects of the system that interest them.

If you've ever had any interest in writing or tweaking rules this is the project for you, none of the current system of SBG and Battle Companies is safe from revision and/or improvement. So bring your ideas to the table and help create a wonderful new resource for the SBG community.
