Hi guys,

Been meaning to make a WIP for a while, not for any specific project just to share my minis and hopefully get some tips. Painted for a few years when I was little, and picked it up again about 2 months ago, to find that there has been some great new minis released and something called finecast  No method to what I paint just anything I like the look of really. Sorry this first post will be a bit picture heavy. Hope you enjoy and comments and criticisms welcome:

Christmas dwarves! But seriously, nice figures. If you want to join in the monthly painting competition, this month's theme is a warband. (8 troops) check it out!

you're a pretty capable painter, not a huge fan of the colour patterns myself, nonetheless you are skilled with a brush
keep the pics flowing :-D

I like your painting a lot, especially the dwarves and Haradrim. Nice bright clear colours. Show us more!

Nice work.

One small tip. on mounted models where you have the plastic grass that joins the hoof to the base, I'd flock around it rather than use stones. It blends in better so the plastic grass doesn't stand out as much.

Crouton - nothing crusty about your work, all very nicely done.

Fantastic painting. The dwarves are the best of the bunch for me.

I disagree. I think the palette choice for the Dwarves and the execution is great. The Golden King's carriers are much better that GW's in my opinion. Their skin just looks more natural!

Thanks for all the kind words. Normally I cut those stupid grass bits off, but my little hacksaw broke and I'm impatient like that.

I am working on some Muhad warriors so will hopefully have them done and posted by the weekend.

Thanks again

So I couldn't settle on a colour scheme for the Muhad so painted something else instead.

The mini isn't lord of the rings, but I wanted to hear what you guys thought
Enjoy
