So, I never liked the Radagast miniature that came with the Escape from Goblin Town set. He looks like a goofball and not like a wizard should. Plus I tend to like static poses, and I wanted it to look like the out of print super rare finecast version of Radagast with Sebastian. So I decided to hack the plastic miniature up.

I used an existing Radagast that had a piece of his staff missing. I ended up finding another one with an intact staff to donate so I took that. I cut him all apart into the basic pieces, got rid of the torso and cut the legs off at the knees. I used a Rohan warrior as a donor torso and started fitting the robe to it, cutting the torso down until it fit. I filled the many, many gaps with greenstuff and sculpted missing detail where necessary. I also repositioned both his arms and the legs. I had to cut the shoes off and reposition them so his feet stood flat on the ground.

He's ready for primer and that will give me a good idea how everything looks, sometimes it's hard to see errors in the greenstuff until I prime it.

He's looking good so far.

The pose looks much better than ones that I've seen before. I hope the primer shows no flaws in your sculpting. Looks great! 8)
