Yeah I saw it ;S I can't put thin tape around it anymore, but I'll try to fix as good as I can ;D

Wow. Really like the idea for the diorama. 8)
Shouldn't it be the Ringwraiths running from the water though?
Can't wait for the painting on the model. :)

No, if you look at the scene, the ringwraiths are already swallowed by the wave, and then the wave takes shape of horses running out of it, and making it look more awesome and faster ;D

This is already the third update today ;D
Now the water effect only needs to dry, and then I'll put moss and grass on the base.
When that's done I can paint the actual model, but that will be tomorrow so I did a good job I think. Making a diorama in a bit more than 1 day (cuz of drying)
Here are some W.I.P. photo's:

Because I hadn't got time to upload this yesterday, I do it now ;D
I made progress on Arwen, and I'm actually really proud of it. Not necessarily the diorama (I think that just worked out fine), but what I'm proud at are the eyes.
I tried to get them good on the photo, but in real they look stunning ;D I also tried to not overhighlight the figure, by building up to the highlight in lots of thin layers.
The diorama of it is fully done now, so now I can continue painting the actual model.

That's the best close-up I could get, after making like 10 photo's xD

I also bought the new set of Easterling Kataphrakts, and I started assembling it a little bit. I really like the set and the fact that you get 2 dead Easterling bodies with it too. There are just lots of bits in that set, like 2 of those flags, 2 drums and more ;D

I hope you guys like it!
C&C are welcome!

That looks great, a really impressive diorama and it's great to see so much time and effort put into it.

Looking really good and considering how long it has taken you too! I actually use that technique (drybrush then washes) to highlight where the raised areas are etc and you are making it look easy! The horse have turned out really well, I wasn't sure of the lack of detail at first but they look fantastic, as if they are about to form! :D

On friday I didn't have time to update this thread, but I did do something. I assembled 3 of my Easterling Kataphrakts (that are now primed btw) and I made 3 conversions. I made a Easterling Champion, but then on foot, a drummer on foot and an Easterling Scout on a horse that was still left when I finished the chariot.
There might be one more flagholder-conversion too, but I don't about that know yet.

That's what I did on friday, but I did work on Arwen again today and yesterday a little bit. I finished the skin of the horse and I fully finished the face of Arwen. I tried to make the exact cut on her right right cheek, just as in the river scene. I couldn't make a photo as good as I had of Arwen, but once finished I'll try to make the best pictures. Now I'll work on some leatherwork on the model, and some details like the sword etc. Hope you ppl like it ;D

Wow. The colours are very nicely painted. Really like the blue and the skin tones for Arwen and the horse. 8)
Good luck with the rest of the model. ;)
