update!

ive finnally managed to get Eomer done! :

and heres GW's Eomer - please vote in the poll

heres my only harad warrior that i got from a big box of random GW stuff - i decided to convert him into a hasharin so that i could acctually game with him (i have no other harad guys)

i have given him a new belt, mask and turban and i will give him some daggers on his belt along with other weapons

I vote for yours not only because i love your sculpting, but also because the official GW Eomer is incredibly bland, and yours is not IMO.

the last alliance elves look nice. The other elves aren't finished yet but i can say after some practise batch painting really makes thing advance a bit. But i do think i dettail them less then when painting them indivually. I don't know how it will work out for you.
Pippin looks good, just seem to miss something in the face. Can't put my finger on it. Maybe add a little brown wash to accentuate the lips or something. But don't try if ur not certain. :-)

What a great job on those Last Alliance elves - the armour and cloaks are fantastic!!

Re. batch painting - its not much fun is it but the results are great when you finish a batch of 6 - 7 models , very rewarding just stick with it and keep saying these words to yourself "They'll be alright in the end, They'll be alright in the end " lol

Pippin looks great too - well done on the eyes. Have you painted them by painting a the whites first and then adding the pupil afterwards? Thats how I used to do mine and its difficult to get right tho I must say you've pulled it off well here. Little tip for you with regards to eyes. When you paint the face basecoat leave the eye sockets black, if you use a wash on faces apply your wash and before highlighting the face put 2 white dots in each eye socket, doing it this way makes it far easier to touch up any mistakes as if you mess one of the white dots up you can cover it up with a little dark flesh and then highlight your face with your chosen colour.... its cheating a bit but its quick and effective.

I like those High Elves, especially the cloaks, they remind me of the robes that I imagine the Sea Elves in the book I am writing to look like. What colours did you use?
