Yes I agree, a very nice job you've done there. Makes me think about doing some more of them.

Lovely job. I've acquired a few in a bundle of models. Awful pity that they never got an update really.

Nice on the Numenoreans! The softer not-quite-black is a good effect.

I shall be starting a set of these myself, soon, I am fancying a late Second Age / Last Alliance army for WotR, mm must start a WIP thread myself methinks...

Nice work John, the gold really stands out against the black.

The Numenor warband is excellent. Really clean painting and great colour combinations. Your Rohan army is an inspiration. I'm painting Rohan next so I have something to go up against my uruks and I'm going to use your thread for colour inspiration. They're the best Rohan on the One Ring imo!

Hi all

Due to a life sucking job I haven't been painting :( But some holiday taken and I have brushed the spiders webs off of my paints.

Isildur mtd:

Kings champion and iron guard:

Numenor 1000pt army finished:

Now painting Uruk hai, Vrasku's warband:

Lurtz and Mahur's warband:

Just have to say that I have always been lurking, not commenting and I am impressed with the skills that I have seen. Great work people! :D

Hi John, good to see some new figures and very nicely done too. Uruks look very realistic, Isildur's armour and the red cloth are done perfectly and the kings champion's banners really stand out. Some fine painting.

The Numenor army looks great and it looks like the Orc army will follow suit.

I'm a fan of how you paint dwarves! Man, wish you could show me more pictures! ;-)

And can you tell me what the brown stuff is on the dwarven bases? I've been looking for something like that but haven't found it yet.
Same for the Uruk's bases, they're really cool! Where do you usually get those materials?
