Really a great job, one of the best I've seen.

As only downside the blood's color, I recommend using to use the "Blood for the Blood God" paint Technical from Citadel for the blood, it's really great.

Thanks Karavatis. I agree about the blood - I think it is too bright red. I was thinking of adding some dark red wash to make some more contrast and also make it darker overall. I don't have any new GW paints but will get some one day when my current stash runs out.

Damn that is some mighty work right there.
For the blood try washing it purple and then go over it with Tamiya Clear Red, only just started using it this year myself but if you're painting blood it is your best friend.

lovely diorama, nice details of some gruwesome battle scenes. Excellent work on the falling gondor soldier. Works well with the falling brick and the splashes in the water.

Thanks for the tips and comments - much appreciated. I will try to fix up that blood at some stage. It is both terrifying and somehow liberating to splash blood all over a mini you just spent 4 hours painstakingly painting

Beautiful! Simply stunning work there!
The terrain looks fabulous and realistic (love the colour scheme of the terrain), the conversions choice and positioning of the models is great and dramatic, the painting is very well done. The water looks great too, and the splashes are very well done as well.

Magnificent! :yay:

Wow, I love the bloody battles that you detail. This is one of the best dioramas I have ever seen!

Stunning diorama - lots of individual vignettes and stories being told there as well as the overall theme. Very well done!

wow, those close up pics really show off the detail you have put into this diorama. I especially like the warg chewing into the gondorian soldier :D
