Oh well, I guess it will be a barrow wight after all. It's a good thing that I just decided that a barrow wight would fit better with my army as a shade costs so much and does little good with my friend's/opponent's fiefdom army.
I've finished one arm and I'll raise the chest, gives me an opportunity to fix the three folds which looks more like a warg's claw mark than folds. Good luck with your project.

Are you gonna give it a sword?

And are you gonna make more than one Barrow white?

As opposed to pink or green? :P

Just kidding. A sword would look cool, but I don't think wights actually used them.

No, I won't be giving it a sword. I'm working on the hands though I might end up giving it a hand off of a goblin I converted. I'm considering making a second, though we'll see how this one turns out first.

What do you think about the arms? I plan on extending the robe next time I get around to sculpting it. As for white, I think the skin will be blue. The cloth will be brownish grey, though I might try some reverse highlighting with a whitish blue glow form the chest with some alternative source lighting around the hands, in the hood, and on the ground below.

At first I was going to do it the same way as the wraith, but I wanted to a faint bluish glow inside the hood with. I plan on creating a hood right over the neck hole, probably a thiner layer using my hands and then covering it with another to give it a smoother finish.

Here is the latest update. I've redone the bottom of the cloak as I wanted it to look like it was floating in the air, but I'm not sure I did it just right.

What do you think? Is it OK does it need a lot more work? If the second is the case, in what way?

Thank you. I'm working on the hood right now. I'm also likely to extend the back a little to make it look more natural. Any other ideas anyone?

It has been a week but I have finally been able to get some more done. At this point I've done most of the sculpting. All that is left is to sculpt the hands. I'm also going to cut away the bottom of the hood and re-sculpt it to make it more realistic, as the hood wouldn't be that wide at the neck. Anything else that needs to be fixed before I move on to painting?

Hang on...The hood is facing the back? Or is the models just leaning back?

I always thought that the model was leaning forward. The bit facing the ground bring the front.

Sorry Samoht, the pictures weren't quite right. When I re-sulpted the bottom of the robe I made it longer and so the wire holding it up wasn't long enough. I've been struggling to get a new piece in and the whole mini ended up too bent backwards. I've fixed that now and finished the sculpting. Unfortunately the hands didn't work out so I used a spare goblin hand and I think I'll just let the other sleeve "cover up" the hand.

I'll start painting it tomorrow so if you see anything that needs to be fixed, speak up.

Perfect!

Very good work. 8)

You may want to add a little more the its left sleeve so it looks more like its other hand is covered.

Got another project in mind?

The left sleeve definitely needs to be extended, but after a several unsuccessful attempts I decided to leave it for now. Went ahead with the painting and I'm almost done. It needs something to finish it up. I might give it a really thin wash just to tone the white down a bit but I'm not sure that's what it needs. Any ideas?

I plan on starting another project soon, I still need something to do in art, but I haven't decided what do to yet. What do you propose samoht?
