Some great work in this thread Qwertz, and welcome.

I particulary like your little Glorfy conversion, and the paintwork on the Orc/Uruk rabble, nice head swap too 8)

Nice painting, the paint really seals the deal. You can't tell the spear and shield don't usually belong :yay:

So... update :)
I have started on a few Galadhrim now... first ones are basically just a test of the color scheme. Faces are going do to redone.

Glorfindel is perfect, but I can't help but think the Galadhrim have been shaded a bit too harshly - their cloaks are almost black for half, and then suddenly blue.

update time!
After quite some time I finally got to painting again :D
For once, three rangers including Damrod:

Then I also painted some goblins. I decided to go with a rather pale scheme for their skin:

Image

Image

I also converted an Easterling command:

Image

Image

And finally using the spare legs of the drummer from the cataphracts and a horse from the riders of Rohan I converted a mounted Aragorn that is still WIP:

So... a lot of pictures right now... but then again it'll take ages until I post something again^^

I particularly like the tunics and cloaks on the rangers, and the whole of the easterlings. Might I suggest using the Captain's helmet oon the Captain however as he looks otherwise identicak to regular warriors.

Hi all :)
So after basically not painting for a month I have now painted a miniature from Ebob Miniatures:
Image

Image

I also have tried for the first time to scratch-build a miniature myself. Not wanting to do a face :-D I decided to go for a ringwraith:

I think for the first try it turned out quite decent. The WIP pictures didn't though, so there are only pic of the finished model...

The rangers are really fantastic, and everything else is very good too.

Nice putty work on the wraith too.

Nice work for your first scratch build, the work of the hands and sword are particularly good with nice crisp edges on the sword.

Finally got some new stuff painted :D
First is Eomer, slightly converted

Image

Image

I haven't painted his armor red because I've got another version of Eomer and I wanted to set those two apart from each other.

I have also painted up some Haradrim. I kind of lack the motivation to paint my Haradrim, but should I do, they'd look something like this:

Lots of pictures, I know.

Looking great, qwertz, especially the Eomer conversion (since i plan doing something similar with Eomer on foot ;) ).
The Haradrim look great too, but the black turbans look kinda unfinished somehow.. maybe add some highlights?

Love all your models! That Ringwraith looks particularly awesome, I can't you believe sculpted it yourself :yay:, the paint job is also great, the cloth look so smooth! I like the colours on the Haradrim too. :)
