What a fantastic update!

Although it could easily get lost amongst all the other awesome minis, I particularly like the Cirith Ungol Banner. It just looks like something an Orc would actually make!

Thanks guys! It's nice to be back on here.

@Erunion. An orc didn't make it but he kind of looks like one! This and all the conversions were done by Dave!

You forgot the smell as well!

I was referring both to the conversion and the painting. It's just an awesome mini!

I had to put them back almost to the very end of the platform, but it worked. Is the main beam of your ballista straight? If its warped or crooked it might keep them from fitting because it is a tight squeeze.

Yep. That's what I did. I attached the front pieces to the base and painted it. Then I painted the wheels and attached them. Finally I assembled the bow and then attached it last. Good luck! It's fun.

Amazing freehand work! Did you manage to do that in the first try?

Thanks! Yeah for the most part. I originally did all the stars and then I painted in a comet but I didn't like the way it looked so I redid that section.

Love the cloak, I like how the rest of his clothes go with the starry night theme. Good job! The dwarf ballista looks awesome too by the way. 8)

I have liked it at FB as well, however it deserves a comment here.
Somehow, I feel it's "alien" to LotR, nevertheless it feels fitting at the same time and it's well executed and so nice. There's no way someone can't like it.
