I've been a bit quiet of late (haha yes ok most out of character) but I've been pretty busy.

Firstly getting the elven army photographed professionally which was by no means easy lol. difficult transporting 300 models. Still awaiting final pics.

Second of all I entered a painting competition at Asgard Wargames in Middlesbrough with a numenorean swordsman. No metallic paints were used on this model at all. The model came in 1st place. Big smiles all round.

More pictures over on Cool Mini Or Not and also as this model is part of my own collection (yes thats right I painted one for meeee :-) ) pics are also up in The Dead Marshes

Second up and with only one week to paint this was the converted Glorfindel with display plinth. Conversion work completed by Dave as usual. I entered this piece into a painting competition at my local GW today and got 1st place Not a bad week :-)

There are a ton more pictures of this piece over on Shadow & Flame
I have also added this to my CMON gallery with a view to trying to get this piece into the 2015 annual. If you would like to help me out and register a vote CLICK HERE

Thanks for looking and as always comments are most welcome.

What are you using for the pond water and have you used a polishing paste to get the outer surface so clear ?

No polishing at all Mally. Its resin built up over 3 pours . Gloss varnish applied to outside edge for protection and clarity.

Chris - I am in no way good enough at NMM to write an article lol. Something for the future maybe. Cheers guys.

It took about an hour to build and 3 days to paint start to finish.
