I cant pick which to chose for gaming i absolutely love the ancient heroes of khazad but gimli is such a good warrior while playing with balin on the board.
I NEED ADVICE !

I think both are great themes for armies, however I prefer Khazad-Dum. Armies themed after Balin's expedition to Moria are also equally interesting thematically though, and can present a great number of painting and modeling opurtunities.

One question though... Why's this in the WIP forum?

thx and honestly idno i suppose maybe its wip 4 gaming which armies do u collect?

Erebor is much better IMHO because:
-You get better named heroes.
-And you get more allies.

Khazad-Dm may get Vault Wardens, but a Dwarf Army does not need those.

Erebor also gets Dain! He is a beast in WotR

Why not collect both? Most of the core warriors can be used in either and you seem to like the heroes, so why not collect mostly for one of them and then get the heroes for the other so that you could use either?

Erebor, though I agree that switching from Erebor to khazad-dum is as simple as buying a couple different hero's.
