hello guys! I decide to fix myself an objective: repaint all my Minas Tirith minis before September. (It will be hard.. but I will try) Here's my minis (painted during 2008 summer) now they look horrible to me, so I wanted to repaint them because I want to have a good looking army XD I also want to make new bases.. I'll have to buy new ones on the GW site.. I want to create a brick effect using greenstuff. I found an idea on Iron Halo.. here it is: |

thanks King Elessar the Uniter here's my progress green stuff bases Some of the minis on the green stuff bases I drilled the minis and I glued a small metal stick in the hole and fixed it in an other hole in the base, to make the mini more stable and less fragile. |

I like the bases a lot. How many will you have to do for the whole army? I hope your gonna strip the models before you paint them. Good luck. Cyndra the Grey |

It will be long, but I really love sculpting bases, and I love Minas Tirith so I will work a lot, I hope that the result will be good ncea wrote: Nice bases. I'm going to do a simple drybrush to make them more realistic. I've tough to use this color scheme: chaos black undercoat codex grey heavy drybrush fortress grey draybrush and finally a very soft drybrush of bleached bone.. Minas Tirith is also known as 'The White City', so I want to make a pale colour scheme. PS: I'm making a video for 'How to make green stuff bases' but it is too long and I can't submit it on you tube.. need to cut some unnecessary parts. |

Here's a new small update: yesterday I painted the banner bearer, but my camera was discharged, so I took the photos this morning. Front Detail of the banner Back Yesterday I ordered my Gondor Warmachines! I also ordered some 25mm round bases, because I don't have enough bases for the entire Minas Tirith Army. |

The bases look great, and your painting has improved greatly too! I like the blue and white colour scheme, almost looks like Dol Amroth. Good work. |

Thank you Erurainon! I used this color scheme because if in the future I add some dol amroth warriors, the army will be homogeneous. Also because I wanted to change and make something different than the standard GW scheme. |
