well, i decided that i did not want to play on table tops. i wanted some sort of nice battlegrounds.

i think that its good for me as a beginner.

it is a 3' by 3'. i plan on filling that stream with model water stuff. (any cheap suggestions?)

i sort of made the griffin form amon hen. i didnt do to much detail on it. wouldnt stay still.

Try glossy Modpodge. Most art and craft stores have it. Paint every thing first. Then pour it in and spread it with a brush.

There is a great article here on how to make Amon Hen using a PDF template and 5mm foamboard. Including a template of the griffin.

Great work. You might want to add another bridge so that the one bridge isn't too key. If you add another bridge I would suggest that you make it a little wider so cavalry and other large models can cross it. Otherwise it looks good.
A cheap way to make water is to paint the bottom blue and then cover it with PVA glue but because the gap is so deep it may not work well in this situation.

I`d stick with the woodland scenic water myself. They have one that you just pour out of the bottle thats super easy to use. Use a good product whatever you do though. All the work you put in will be for nothing if your main feature looks shabby.
