Greetings, and welcome to the One Ring. You've done better on your first minis than I did on mine! One thing I would suggest is to make an effort to create depth on the mini, by painting the folds of the cloth a darker color, and then the edges with a lighter color. This helps the miniature look more realistic. Keep up the good work! |

Hey man welcome to the site. How old are you and where are you from? Saruman could do with a bone coloured cloak and washes should be used (delvin mud). You will be suprised to see how much better they look with washes applied depending on basecoat colours. Anyway they can do with some touching up. Keep us posted with your progress, we are here to help. |

A good first effort, a quick and easy way to add more depth to your models is to wash them and then if you're feeling adventurous you can add a highlight of the original colours on the most prominent points of the model. |

I find it really hard to paint metal miniatures compared to plastic ones. |

I agree - but if you get them right, they also look much better. Back on topic, I fully agree with what has been said above, though you'll want to watch out with washing Saruman - he might end up more Black then White. Also, you might want to glue the top back on his staff . |

We were together with Leganthir when he was painting them and sadly the staff's upper part was missing. We are thinking of extending it a bit more by using greenstuff |
