I have been asked in the chatroom to show off my work. I'm no expert painter, but I'm quite proud of what I have managed :)

Gandalf, Radagast and Bilbo

The Goblin King, Grinnah, Scribe and Captain

The bases have just been painted at the moment, because I haven't made up my mind how I want to do them - will revisit them at some point.

Wow what an impressive feat to have completed the whole set already!

Hard to make out the details of the dwarfs due to the picture any chance of a closer one? From what I can see your goblin king and goblin force really do stand out, excellent effort :)

Thanks. I wanted to do more detailed pics, but can't find my camera! Had to use my phone for these, and it isn't good at closeup.

As said, impressive to have done it all so quicky to a good standard! What did you think of the quality of the sculpts of Thorin's company?

I did like Thorin's Company. Much better than the MoM Fellowship. And the Goblins are fantastic, will definately get more to add to the horde!

WOW! Syaing you're not a painter then coming out with that!!! It all looks fantastic!!!

My ONLY critique (and I say only, because I think is the only justified feedback I could give) is that the bases could do with some work using texture paint.

Seriously though, well done for getting it all done. :)

Latest additions, the Trolls! I've taken some closeups this time, as my phone managed to focus on the larger models. There are two things you should know about me as you critique them lol. First, I'm colour blind. I exclusively use painting guides for colour choices, and I couldn't find one for the Trolls, so hope they look OK! Second, I have nerve damage in my fingers, so holding a brush steady is a challenge, so forgive the detail - its the best I can do!

Looks great!
The fire looks very nice (especially the roasted animal, great 'cooked' colour).
Might I suggest blackening some of the wood around the fire? it would make it look a bit more real IMO :)

The trolls' skin is so realistic, congratulations! The lamb makes me hungry. Thankfully I am about to eat lunch.

You have far too much money and far to much free time and to be honest I'm quite envious! All the models look great, give them fancy bases and you'll have a very nice Hobbit collection.

Woah somebody kept himself pretty busy during the holidays!
Impressive to paint so many models in so little time, and with a pretty nice result aswell. :yay:

Now off to play some battles :-D

You are colour-blind and have a problem with holding your brush steady? That makes this only more brilliant. Stop complaining about your work, it's really great!

The only point would be that your bases really let you down. Even a very basic layer of sand glued on helps a LOT.
