Post subject:  Crossfire - WWII Skirmish

Anybody played this game at all?

I've been looking for a WWII game to use some 28mm figures with (Flames of War is a great game but is 15mm scale and I just can't paint things that small). I came across a review of Crossfire that made it sound very promising:

It seems very interesting to me and breaks away from the standard wargaming approach from the big companies - the idea that modern small arms weaponry can fire the full length of a gaming table (provided there is clear line of sight) makes perfect sense to me and so using terrain wisely becomes of the utmost importance. As soon as your unit moves into the open and is spotted by an enemy, you are fired upon and you may lose the initiative, passing it on to the other player.

I'd love to hear from anyone who has played this game and hear their thoughts on it.
