Nope. I wanted to Tim, but I'm due to work that day and unfortunately can't get the day off. |

Well if memory serves me right it is in ExCel now, which is just up the road from my mum's (easy Parking), and my house mate is a GW staff member and she thinks she is working there that day, if not she definately wants to go as well so seems like I could end up going as well. Another opportunity to spend more money I do not have, on more models I do not need, gotta love this hobby. |

Yeah sorry i missed you Tim, shame as it all got a bit last minute for me in the end. Had a few laughs, met some old mates there and my house mate got 'arrested' by the stormtroopers lol Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

Wow, if my local GW store had staff that looked like your housemate I would spend an awful lot more of my time there, lol. Instead I have to converse with sweaty guys with long hair and goatee beards. Sounds like you had a good day. Shame I had to work. |

Oh, now, don't be unkind. GW employees are not all beardy and sweaty. Or spotty.... I envy you gits for having great events happening nearby... what I wouldn't give to walk up to some Stormtroopers and say (waving one hand mysteriously): 'These are not the droids you are looking for...' |

That is true, and yet... there is a common theme. I had long hair once and look at me now! Perhaps I'm just envious. Tried a beard several times but it's just too itchy. I'd love to go along to some kind of event like this. My parents live a 10 minute drive from Warhammer World in Nottingham. It's just a pity that I live a 4 hour drive away from them. |

Any more photos to be had from the day? Especially photos with your housemate in them Tony - she's quite... arresting. |

At my "local" GW, the staff are actually fairly average-looking guys...but the customers look like Space Wolves...I actually saw a guy with a hairstyle like the one on the left in this pic. |
