I believe the events pack says that you get them checked out with officials when you register. What sort of conversions are you talking about?

Best to have them approved well beforehand, at least that'll allow you to change the list/models.

Yes Faramir IF hes in my final list.... And Beregond but hopefully an improved one from the one I brought to Stockport.
Possibly a couple of others. They all use GW stuff and theres no proxies ie the model its supposed to be is mainly that model, if that makes sense?lol

Don't take my word for it, but I'm reasonably certain that if the model is 100% citadel there's no problem, and you don't even need to get them checked out. However, if you've used "bits" from other manufacturers/models then they can be a bit funny about it.

I seem to remember that the "rule" used to be 75% citadel models, and they did tolerate other manufacturer "bits", but I think they're stricter now than they used to be, because you know, they actually have a lot of competition nowadays, while back in the day there really wasn't that much.

I've heard it's also advisable to get "own sculpt" or heavily greenstuff modified things verified first. The answer will be yes, but it's better to get them approved ahead of time to prevent any holdups on the day, or confusion about what they're made from. I guess, if you have them, pre-paint job photos will be helpful.
