Not sure if it's a good idea or not but I've got nothing to lose!

The idea of this thread is for people to share their favourite photographs. They don't have to be LoTR related and it would be nice to see some pics that don't use the macro setting for a change!

Anyway, I'll start off with this:

I've been told that they look like they're out of the National Geographic (hmm) - anyway I really love the pics. and they are among my best. The fly managed to stay still long enough for me to capture it close up.

Please comment!

I took this one last year. I went with a friend of mine for a walk at about 4 a.m. We had a tripod and took quite a lot of pics. This is my favourte.
