Well, in the summer I finally found the time to try to create my first table for my LOTR minis. I'm in the hobby for ~10 years and always played with my brother in a simple green cloth.
Unfortunately, I made it during the summer vacations (~2 weeks approximately) in my village, and I don't have it around me 90% of the time.
Since on a month or two I'm going there, and it' still unfinished, I would like to ask you guys what should I do in a weeks time to improve it for now. The two hills are covered with wood putty and still not covered with sand/grass as I want.
The pictures:
I know, the dirt looks really ugly, I'll surely paint it all brown and drybrush with layers of white/beige. Also the same with the road, I'll cover the plain parts with sand and then paint it. Moreover, I'll probably make the fortified hill movable (is glued now) to make more empty room, as it is a small table (1.2*1). I'm planning to make it a 1.2*1.5 in the summer hopefully.
And two simple questions: 1) what to do with the riverbanks? I don't know exactly.
2) Trees- should I remove them and make bases for each or should I let them glued to the table?
So, I'd like to receive any criticism and comments on how to improve it!
