Hello!
I'm in the procces of making a Gondor Trebuchet, but there seems to be a lack of picture on the web of the GW one.I've found tons of pictures of the front, but none of the back.So my question was, does anyone have any pictures of one?Or maybe a picture in there Gallery?
Any help would be very helpful!

Home made trebuchet? Sounds awsome =)

I suppose you've tried google-searching for pictures of it?

Otherwise, I'd suggest you take a look on a normal trebuchet from Wikipedia or something, and make one sticking out from GW's... Though, I suppose that's abit of the idea when making your own. =P

My friend has one, but I've got no pictures of it.. But err, it's quite simular to the front I think, except the trigger stuff and all that...

One of the google hits was from this site, a diorama by Tidoco, check his gallery =) It's from the side, but pretty much shows what it looks like on the back.

(Didn't want to link to his gallery without permision, but just search in the memberlist =P )

Hey there, I built a trebuchet a little while back, you can still find it in my gallery. I'm also writing an article on one, and although it's not finished I can send you what I have so far if you want... ;)

Good luck on it! Don't hesitate to ask me if you have any questions... I think that after two homemade trebuchets I might have some useful knowledge in the matter :P

The GW Battlecry trebuchet represents the smallest of the weapons mounted on the walls of Minas Tirith. You can see it in Framecaplib images of RotK, at Gandalf's fighting position.

I prefer the bigger trebuchets, the version that smashed siege towers and nearly got old Concrete-Bonce, Gothmog. So I built one:

That reminds me, I need a few more...

Well first of all, are you building a fully functioning trebuchet, or just one for display? Mine is just for display, and it has no real trigger... just a manual release by the crew and the rock goes flying (that is if it would function :P) It's quite late right now, but I promise that tomorrow I'll post a picture of the back of my trebuchet (not the one in the gallery... a better, improved model)... it ressembles that of GW slightly more then the 1st one :)

Wasn't there a guide for it in a BGIME?
One of the later issues.

First of all,no it's not going to be functional, just for the game. Secondly, that would be great Ranger of Gondor! Pictures are always good. Thirdly ,I'm not sure imrail, I don't have any of the BGIME,but thanks!

Hey Eorltheyoung

I remember I once searched youtube for trebuchets. After some searching I came to a video where there is explained how to build one. Also on the homepage of this guy there were plans for construction...
I don't have the link now but you could search youtube as well. It may be very useful.

I hope I could help you!
