My local Games Workshop used small pins that you use on corkboards to and painted the tops of them to represent flowers on a Shire Board we made. Personally I didn't like them that much but the effect worked well enough.

As an alternative, more expensive one that is, the Woodland Scenics Tree Canopy Kit is perfect for representing flowers. There are 3 different colours and each look great.

See it here - http://woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics. ... restCanopy

I hope that helps.

PS - your avatar is WAY too big ;)

Actually I'd have to say I prefer the look of those. More colours, cheaper - what more can one ask for?

They look very effective too. Might have to purchase some of those, thanks :)

Well, actually it was...technically you're avatar's supposed to be a max size of 150 x 200 pixels. And trust me, yours was a lot bigger than that. But it's not a huge issue.

I've bought some of Antenociti's flowers and they work terrifically, so I definitely recommend them.

A drawing board pin (the brass ones not the ones that are different colours) with a card flower head shape pushed onto it works quite well.

Individual flowers? or a bunch?

start big with a sun flower, get a straight bit of wire of workable thicknes.

get a tiny bit of green stuff and roll it out on a waters surface so its as thin as you can get it. Use a wet blade to cut of a slice about 0.5mm x 2mm. This will be the 1st petal.

The tricky bit is to let the topside dry while the bottom is still slippery and wet. push the wire on to the short edge of the green stuff to make the first petal.
You'll need at least 5 to make it look good. then put a rond blob in the middle the same way.

To make other flowers you can do the same but pull the petals up after.

Also, you can start off with a small disk 2mm diameter, stick it on the wire, then leave it to dry for about 15mins so its firm. then cut nicks to make the overlapping petal shape befor ebending them up.

To make bunches you can use mossy grass (the spongey stuff) and get an old thick hair brush (large, for outdoor painting) and snip off a small bunch of hairs, stick them together at one end, then stick the grass on top to make the flower heads. You'll need to figure out if you would rather paint the mossy grass before or after.

I am sure you can find a better source in Germany. This link has very good photos:

Look into the O gauge Victorian garden for ideas.

Everyone has given very good advice so I hope the links will also help.

I am sure there is some where local to get supply's.I rarely buy something I can make.

Many of the products on the link I posted are are German imports to the United States. I would be silly to have them sent back to Germany.
