ok so i have just started sbg and want to make some scenery to go with the game, i will mainly be using wood or foamboard for most scenery as i am making buildings mostly. is a glue gun any good. also is there anything better that you would recommend. |

I would recommand PVA-glue since it's easy to work with and cheap and does a great job on any scenery. I have a glue gun myself, and never use it (or at least not for hobby-related things...). It's also about the messiest thing to work with I think and leaves thick ugly traces of glue were there shouldn't be any... Also, if you're glue gets a bit too hot, or your gun nears to close to the foam, it has the risk to melt... I'd go all the way for PVA |

Yeah stick with PVA for hobby stuff. I got a hot glue gun but haven't used it for anything hobby related. Used it on me footy boots. |

A hot glue is like any specialized tool, a glue stick might last a year then suddenly you will need 10 in a hour. I almost never use it for model work but it is handy when I build terrain. My brother uses his to make trees. A low temperature gun works well with foam products . I still prefer Liquid Nails. |
