Hey mates!

I want to build a Gaming Terrain for my Corsair Ship, and to use it on our Tournaments

so what do i have?

First. A Corsair Ship :D
It is nearly 48 inces long, so it will be the main-decoration on the field...

i want to build some wooden planks, where the ship is roped on...and some buildings...

Does anyone have some reference pictures from an Umbar Scenery that i can use for my project?

I think Umbar should be a fortress like port with walls, and streets made of stone...not so much desert in umbar i think.

thanks for any hint :)

Visit an Hour of Wolves and Shattered Shields. There is an awesome port city of Umbar there to tour.

I always thought of Umbar being similar to Carthage or some other North Africa city.

It depends on how deep into the city you want to go with your game board. What kind of scenarios do you wish to play on your board will help determine what kind of buildings, etc to build. Strip of water for your ship, wood dock, stone wall with a gate into a block of the city? Expand on your thinking of the wood dock and think about on how you think the wall, buildings, gate, whatever should look like for a city where corsairs sail out of. Have fun and keep us posted!
