The winner will be given a Purple name on the forums (in the same way that my name is Green) and receive a pack of our limited edition Purple One Ring dice, available only to the winners of these awards. Voting will be open for 10 days. Best of luck to all of you, may the best Dwarf win. |

Sorry if I'm being insensitive, but who do the dice go to if Bilbo wins? The second best? |

That is quite an insensitive question Hill-Troll. David (Bilbo) was a great friend to many on the site and his passing is still very raw to the people who knew him here. As a talented painter, sculptor/ converter and article writer he could well have won in every category of the awards. I will answer your question tho in future please by mindful that there are real people behind the names on the computer screen and real friendships. Davids passing was a huge loss to the site. If he were to win in any of the awards his dice would go to either Alan (Dagorlad) or Matt (Lotrcrown) to whom he was very close. If that sounded harsh I apologise it was not my intent. |

If Bilbo wins could we perhaps try and raise a little capital for a small plaque with inserts for the dice? As a tribute to him |

It is a shame that sculpting and converting were grouped together in this poll, as whilst there aren't that many sculptors around the boards, there are plenty of converters who do some amazing work. I appear to have won this vote based upon my sculpting abilities, which put me somewhat at an advantage over the converters. I apologize for that, but appreciate that you all find my work to be of a high enough standard it warranted so many votes. Thank you |

Your work is awesome. Multiskilled poll means you win. Don't feel bad about those who convert only - the polls were for the two coupled together. Next poll might be just the converters... |

Yeah UKFB, don't sell your talents short. For this site, you bring so many fresh idea's with your sculpting that a converter would not easily attain. Just crack your knuckles, sit back, smile at the very deserved nods thrown your way. The best part is you get to pay the fans back by just continuing to do what you enjoy, sculpting new art, and by giving advice and pointing out the articles like you already do. |
