Just want to say, great addition by adding the time onto each entry on the chatbox. It's good to know what time each person posted their message. Great addition :) even if it isn't much.

Good Work, the site just keeps expanding and improving...

Thanks for the feedback guys. A few people have asked for it in the past and it turned out to be a remarkably easy thing to implement.

I find it makes a much more meaningful exercise reading when the chatbox posts were made and it gives me a better idea of when I am more likely to catch someone if I need to talk to them.

Heheh, I can be sneaky and set individual member's local timezone to whatever I want - that'll confuse people for sure!

I'm not compleeetley sure about this new-fangled idea, but I guess I can live with it :D . I also noticed ALL the Mods and Ringwraiths changing their names. What's that about?

At the risk of drifting off topic...

I changed my name as an experiment.

Most OR regulars already know my real name of course, but there's been a lot of new members joining in the past year who don't know me at all. My theory is that by showing my real name, people will see me as more approachable if they are having any issues on the site.

Okay, just reporting an error I've discovered:

Sometimes, before I log on, I open multiple tabs on One-Ring. Then, in one of the tabs, I reply to a post which means I log on. After my post I see something in the chatbox (in a different tab) which I reply too, but it shows me as a guest. I'm going to assume that this is because only one tab is logged in, but the rest are as well, in theory, enabling me to post while logged off??

Interesting! I'll try and reproduce that and see whether I can fix it. Which browser are you using? IE7 or Firefox?

I can do it too though it was a freak accident

I'm using Internet Explorer

It's rather funny seeing a user named as 'guest' talking in the chatbox lol
