ok heres how i see this competition you can join one of the three main categorys or the begginer category. to join for the begginer category you send in a picture and they judge whether your begginer. If you win begginer comp you cant do begginer again. you can have three entries for begginer terrain, model, converted. but i still am a bit confused. OK i go to begineer registration put in photo of one of my models and send it. What happens after that. please clear things up for me |

You can enter one or more of the Open Categories and the Master Craftsman category. But, if you wish to enter the Beginners Category, we have to be satisfied that you are truly a beginner - to keep it fair and give other genuine beginners a chance at winning a good prize. So you register for the beginners category and the Comp Committee will take a look at your picture and decide whether or not you are eligible. You will then receive a PM and, if you've been approved, you can enter the Beginners category when the competition gets started (in a month or so). |

Well, yes, but they'd be found out pretty quickly wouldn't they! The Competition Committee (me, Azog, and Potenza) keep an eye on the whole thing and try to make sure it's fair for everyone. We've moved entries from the Beginners category up to the Open categories before where we think there is a need to, and will continue to do so in the future. And if someone is caught deliberately trying to cheat, then they face a total ban from the site. |

I have one question: If you enter in the Beginners category, and you dont win, can you still enter it next time? |

Of course, the only important rule is that you can't enter next time when you have won. |

Thats cool, and just one more! Can I register now to be a beginner, instead of registering in April when the Competition is actually on? |

You will have to ask Dagorlad. I don't know why the 'Register' button is still active. |

Yes you can register at any time for the Beginners category - so do it now ready for the next competition in March if you like. I check the list from time to time, more frequently the closer we get to the next competition. If you've gone through and tried to register, but nothing has happened for a while, send me a PM and I'll sort it out for you. |

Cool, thanks. I've approved you (and another member) for the next competition (in March 2009). |
