I'm a newcomer to WoTR and I finally got to painting up my Esterlings. 20 or so done.. .a whole lot more to go.
- I was just wondering, given the high quality of Easterlings, what size of regiments is best usually? I got about 6-8 boxes of Easterlings to spread out over companies.
I also have 2x the Command Box (Dragon Knight, Banner, War Priest)
And 3-4 Captains + Banner.
Would about 4 companies per unit be good?
- I also have 7 Easterling Kataphracts (i presume I'd best add one?) or should I add in Khamul?
- Atm Easterling drummers can only be gotten through conversion?
- Is agression the key with Easterlings?
- Though i'm focussing on Easterlings atm. I'm inclined to add a small core of Black Numenorans + Morgul Knights + Black Marshal (probably).
Would that combo work well?
The Castellans/Necromancer seem quite cool too. How do they perform?
How performing are th Variags of Khand?
- WoTR/Lotr activity here is limited so ubercompetitiveness is by no means important. Friendly games with a fluffy/themed army that can still win is what i'm going for.

Yeah i'll be using those Easterling Archers because I got them. I actually picked WoTR over WH:F in part because of the investment differences.
And... well I'm not that fond of the Haradrim.
