what do you guys think of this: giving durburz/druzhag the crown of cardum (fate) so they have free might on a 4+, but run the risk of being killed on a d6 of 3, so get a battle host and get the stolen mithril vest fate to get their resilience to 4 - so they cant die from the crown
I could also ally in Khamul instead of gettiing the mithril fate

is it worth getting these things? if i get the battlehost w/ durburz, i can summon goblins. get druzhag and i can summon beasts (both of them cost 1 might, thus getting the crown)

and just to be cruel: get a battle host so i can use the stolen mithril fate on the dragon/balrog! (i prefer the dragon)

I don't think you can give the Mithril Coat to the Balrog or a Dragon. The fate is for a Goblin Hero or Epic Hero and the Dragon and the Balrog are both rare formations, not Epic Heroes.

The Stolen Mithril Coat syas you can give it to a Hero or Epic Hero. The Balrog and Dragon are Rare Formations that can use Heroic abilities (At the Double!, Heroic Actions and +/-1 to die rolls).

However, I think that the Stolen mithril Coat should be given to one of them, regardless of taking that crown :D Take all of them (The Crown and Coat on Durburz with the Battlehost and Khamul). It's a lot of points, but should be effective enough.

Lol? How did you work that one out then? Because that is the most random thing I have ever heard concerning rolling dice :?

I wouldn't use either fate, for 25 points more than the Crown you can get a palantir, which is more useful than a 50/50 might return and 1/6 death chance imho.
