I've never really took much notice of these guy really but after looking at the stats thought they could be good especially with the longbow option. Just wondered if anyone ever uses them in their army or even has enough to field a decent size formation their quite expensive to purchase . |

They are ok, I have fielded 3 companies of each in a huge battle... They worked well. often people say that they are expensive - as normal WoMT perform well and are cheap (both cost and points). But I always believe in the look and feel of an army - if I like the look and the feel I get them.... ... Check out my blog for the battle report with them in I think it is the one Mordor v Osgiliath garrison. |

I do not recommend them in WotR unless you absolutely love them. Or if your playing 5000pt+ and need to use all you can. Too costly otherwise. |

I like one formation of CG Longbows just to get the dice rolling from having that range and an option for a Strength 4 unit. I don't take them usually until after I make my list. If I got points to play with or my opponent wants extra points, I try to upgrade AoMT with CG w/LB |
