In Turn 2 of the War of the Ring Rohan Campaign, Good had priority and moved Aragron, Gimli, Legolas and Erkenbrand's Riders into the Fords of Isen to reinforce Theodred who held back Isengard in Turn 1. Isengard decided to wait until Turn 3 to strike when the Uruk-hai would be armed for war and ready to march.

With no battle in Turn 2, the campaign moved to Turn 3 where the Good again had priority and moved Gandalf, Théoden, Eowyn, and the King's Guard into Westemnet. Isengard then moved their entire army into the Fords of Isen forcing a 3500 point battle.
