Finally, here at the end of all things, I finished three of the four.

Mordor Orc: Straight up paint job, other than the scar thru the one eye.

Image

Morannon Orc Captain: Even took the time to carve the face out of a gondor helm and cut the arm off the back of the shield. I also took the time to paint the back out of the shield only to realize it cant be seen. Awesome.

Rare Mordor Uruk Hai: After the time spent to track this guy down it was fun to paint him for a competition. I painted a gneiss (no, I wont take it for granite, and its really something to marble at) pattern on all those steps, and then covered it half up with sand. Had to be done, but it was tough to do.

I'm in too!
It's my first challenge entry ever, even though I wanted to enlist myself other times too, I was never able to do so for various reasons.
Here's a on foot and mounted version of the Undying Nazgul, which I got from a trade last week. I really wanted to paint this one, so I managed to do so while I have many other models on the workbench right now.

And here they are finished (I worked a few hours yesterday and today), made in a hurry not very well painted, certainly not well photographed, but at least they're done!

It seems I need more practice with both brush and camera - possibly the little people in the house are to blame these days. Nonetheless I finished him after he'd haunted my painting desk for a year or more so job done.

So I realized too late that GMT is 7 hours ahead of where I live. When I thought that I had two hours left to finish my entry, I was really late 5 hours. So unfortunately, my entry won't be eligible for this one. But the orcs are finished! You can see them in my WIP thread when I get the chance to photograph them. Good luck to everybody!

My entry pics are in my WIP, but I'm working late in case the poll goes up. Will submit them later

I know it's too late but I wanted to post these guys just so I can say they're finished.

There was a fifth orc that I painted but you can see him and other orcs that I finished over on my WIP. I'll be more punctual next time. :)

I love the conversions, especially the 2nd one and the 4th one (from the left in the 1st pic)
