Ahhh! Too many great entries! Based on painting skill alone, this month I voted for Chris' shagrat because of brilliant smooth highlighting, nice colour choice and a cool base. Superb work from all the entrants though A very hard choice... I only wish I could vote for more than one |

I voted for Ardboe's Uruk-hai Captain. I like the natural highlighting and the flesh is brilliant! Standards I only hope to achieve one day! I like the rustic look of it too! All entries are fantastic though! |

Sorry to be a pain but I've had to reset the voting as I forgot to add Sacrilege83's entry! Wooops. |

My vote this month goes to GothmogtheWerewolf - Excellent conversion, great sculpting and a fitting paint job. Your paninting is improving dramatically. Well done. Now all you need to work on is the photography side of things |

My vote goes to Garmenhord, definitely one of the best models I've seen from him (especially the eyes), such an improvement from those first Goblins! Great entries from everyone though, it was really hard to choose |

Wow, so many to choose from, and so many good ones too! I think the One Ring community is definitely lifting its overall painting skill level, which is excellent. Had to give my vote to karavatis for that beautiful Eye of Sauron banner, but it could just as easily have gone to several other great entries. |

Very good indeed. Need to think on this one for a few days as I'm torn between three right now... |

So many great entries! I decided to vote for Chris GoM's Shagrat as the blending is fantastic between the colours. Love the skin and especially the base! Superb job to all entries! It's never easy to win, is it? |

Really difficult to choose this month as there are some amazing entries. I'm going for karavatis this time, I prefer the darker skin tone that others have adopted but the banner is incredible and I like the highlighting on the dark cloth. Best of luck to all. |

Well, I've narrowed it down to three...Chris GoM's Shagrat, Wah Wing's Gothmog and Bartelomeus' Sharku. Now that is not to say I didn't like the other entries...I just thought that these pieces showed me something I really liked. Each had something that stood out...Chris's superbly painted Shagrat blends perfectly onto his base, Bartelomeus has a nice matte finish to a great paint job and I liked how he gave Sharku pants, and Wah Wing's Gothmog with its unique color palette and great base. After looking at each for a while I decided on Wah Wing's Gothmog. Well done everyone! |

There are so many great entries this month! Some really cool conversions, some entries that make me wish I hadn't procrastinated on buying certain sculpts and awesome painting all around! Good work and good luck to all. |

Oh for goodness sake - will you guys stop doing such awesome painting. Seriously, there are so many good entries here. It's great that there isn't a clear standout as so many people have improved their painting skills. Basically I like all of them. However, I am a sucker for dioramas so I had to go with PoW. That is one awesome scene - and really great painting too. I also really liked the Sharku's - especially IsleS's, and RotM orc captain, and Chris's, Sacrilege's, Bowt's Shagrat, and DMS's uruk, and.......... |

PowerOfWill got my vote. Not the best paintjob of the candidates, but the colouring is very 'arty' and I like it. That and the fact that I'vebeen waiting for someone to make a brutal diorama with that orc captain. |

Some lovely miniatures again, but this time DMS really, really trumped them all. |

Like many before me, I too found choosing which one of these entries to vote for. I immediatly ignored all entries that were not Shagrat, Mordor Uruk-hai, Mordor Uruk-hai Captains, and Gorbag, which made muy choosing easier. I was very keen on DMS' rare Mordor Uruk-hai, and karavatis' banner bearer, as well as those entries of sacrildge, bilbo and eothen. in the end I settled on Chris GoM as I really like how his Shagrast has turned out, good job to you, and to all applicants |
