Well done guys! Well done Gene; you got Galadriels face just right and I like the flowers on the base. Very simple but very nice and a top job on her clothes as well - its so goods its barely noticeable! |

Well done all Pasi, Rognarr, Bill Ferny and Barks all deserve an honorable mention but in the end I went for Cruci Excellent shading on that figure as well as some astounding basing Congratulations EDIT: Wow I just noticed the dirt on the bottom of Bill Ferny's Glofindel cloak. That is well done as well Still think Cruci's is the best, though |

I went for Valpas on this one because of the bright, vibrant colours and the excellent paintwork on his horse which is difficult for a white one |

I went for Avenger's Galadriel- simple, different, and well-executed. |

Excellent work by everyone, a real difficult choice. Crucifer edged it with a unique paint scheme that was superbly executed. |

Another difficult decision, very difficult. There are 5 absolute humdingers in there - and well done to everyone who entered. |

These challenges are getting so tough to pick a winner these days. So many entries worthy of the win. After looking over the entries over and over again I stuck with my original decision and went for Bill Fernys Glorfindel. |

Thanks for all the votes guys. I shamelessly voted for myself as I couldn't decide between Gene and Bill |

Oh, is that not the done thing? If I wasn't participating I'd have voted for you too |

Not a single vote for me? Ok, can I get my vote back and give it to myself..? :| Was a pretty tough challenge again this time, and it was hard to decide for me, but in the end Bill got it. |

Shame you didn't get any votes, since your entry was really good. I think it's just that while your entry was great, some other entries were even more impressive - whether through using an interesting technique, a remarkable base (although your base was really impressive as well), etc. But to be honest I think your miniature did deserve more votes though |

Roganarr, your Galadriel is brilliantly painted, i just wish i had several votes to give, i voted for Ellorinader for the only reason he has improved alot not because its the best painted figure, IMHO. Your painting standard is very high and i always enjoy reading you WIP. |

@Rognarr Your Galadriel was my second favourite as I love the blue wash |

THanks guys! Don't get me wrong though, I didn't want pity. I was joking around a bit because this challenge really was tough and even for me it was hard to decide who should get my vote. Thanks for your kind words nevertheless! Harfoot wrote: Your painting standard is very high and i always enjoy reading you WIP. I'm very happy to read this! ElfLover wrote: @Rognarr Your Galadriel was my second favourite as I love the blue wash Well, thx elflover! It's no wash though, but light blue shading over a white priming and adding highlights step by step. |

My vote went to Gene. Simple and efficient, and really nice base to complement it. I wish I had another vote; it would have gone to Avenger's red Galadriel. I really had hard time deciding between these two. -- Pasi |
