Honestly 100%, lots of great participations and very difficult to choose amongst them. I'll go with Gene's Frodo and Sam. I really like them! Well done Gene!!! P.S. Kudos to Halauas for his inspirational conversions!! |

Really tough one this month. Ended up having to go with Gene's wonderful execution of the "fire-light" effect. Super job, mate! Well done to all who participated though. An excellent standard all round and it's great to see so many entries! |

You can't find what's not there, DMS. I just read your post a few minutes ago and then took the pictures. I'll still upload them to the page but I guess since this voting poll is already up it wouldn't be really fair for you to add it. I'll get it done faster next time though. As for voting, I'll have to vote for Sithious since he has done a great job on his orcs once again. Plus he's the one that inspired my own converted orcs. Great work to everyone though. There are many fantastic models out there. |

Such excellent work from so many here! In the end, I went for Eric's Black Numenorians (back in the challenge thread, they were the ones that instantly stood out), but it could so easily have been Joshuar, Bill or Gene that got my vote! Fantastic stuff, everyone! |

Went with Bill's Orcs. I liked so many of the entries this time around, some really great conversions and color schemes and the variety of styles is great. |

pokyha wrote: Only one vote? with soooo many entries and they are all good as well. funny you should say that as i did consider allowing 2 votes each this time around. How vwould you all feel about having 2 votes each if a challenge has more than 15 entries? i can implement it for the next challenge. I was hopelessly stuck for who to vote for. ~It came down to Joshuar_au whose colouration on his morgul knights is simply beautiful. i will be stealing this scheme for my own. Sithious - i just love your painting style and conversions as always are outstanding. Halauas - these are crazy! if these were available to buy i'd have hundreds of them. cracking paint jobs too. Randy - Each time you finish a model its is better than the last! I've enjoyed seeing your painting progress, which it has hugely and in a short space of time. I find myself trying to improve areas of my paint jobs to try and keep up with you. For the marbleous (sorry lol) stepped marble flooring you get my vote this month. You should have put some pics of just the marble uruk base on its own buddy as its absolutely insane Fantastic to see so many high quality paint jobs in the challenge. Heres to many more! |

Being able to cast more than 1 vote? Yes please! Saves a lot of trouble, it can sometimes be very difficult to choose. Would also allow one to place both a vote on the personal favourite, while having a second to give somebody who has improved much, or done something interesting etc. - as a little encouragement. Three would also be fine. Or four. Or eight..een. |

Thanks for the kind words. And thanks to DMS for fishing out my photos, when I forgot to. Been so unbelievably busy - I'd have gone mad if I missed out on another comp. I voted for Valpas' Gollum as overall I think he got the essence of the model spot on. Lots of character and perfect colouring. Looks just like the promo from the two towers with Gollum in Ithillien. Might bump this one up the 'to buy' list now. Lots of other lovely entries. I think the 2 votes would work but my mathematical brain isn't the best. Does it work out with a beneficiary aggregate if a preference for 1st and second isn't factored in? or does preference depend on a quota? I'm not really helping matters...sorry! |

I don't know about the math side of the idea Gene. My thought was that in challenges such as this one there were easily 4 or 5 entries i wanted to give my vote too. I just think it would be better in larger challenges if each voter could give their recognition to two of their favourite entries. First and second will be decided by the overall vote. Too close to call at the moment huh. Excellent! |

I love Gene's Hobbits. But it would be a shame to say that Two hobbits faced the challenge of Mordor and proved the victor. Wait, I guess that would sound just about right. 2 votes sounds good. It would separate the winner faster in some cases too. If 4 people voted, it could easily have one person get 4 votes and 4 other people each get 1 vote. allowing 1 model to rise above faster than in a 1 vote system. |
