Just finnished converting this duel, based on an artwork in the CSM codex. The white stuff on the base isn't snow, it's a cheap clay that I use to bulk up my bases a little. Oh, and the reason why the fire warrior's torso is black is because I scavenged one of my old projects

Anyway, on to the pictures (yet even more poor cellphone pics!)

And yes, my desk is a mess (pretty much). Anyhow, people feel free to post some C&C, cheers for taking a look at my thread.

Looks good, you have got alot of motion in there which is nice and the actual model will look great when it is done.

A great duel from a great piece of artwork which closely represents the actual artwork. I look forward to seeing this done :)

Now that I have an actual deadline for this one, I still have a couple of other things to paint, such as:

Rhino, 90% done and 4 khorne zerkers for "troops"

Obliterator for "Monster/Chariot"

And this diorama =).

Thanks for all the kind replies. Was a real pain in the "bottom" to get the pose right. Cheated a bit my using khorne berserker upper legs and posessed lower legs (and greenstuffed the gaps). I cheated a bit on the greenstuff by painting on a thinned down layer of PVA on the greenstuff to have a nice smooth finishing.

I wouldn't say that's cheating at all... just cleverly improvising

Ha I'm glad you understood my last post. I wasn't really thinking a 100% clear. It looks really goofy, doesn't it? ^^

Hows this coming along mate? Not being pushy I just can't wait to see the finished result. Not very long left now either

It's still unpainted in my stack of "yet still to paint" models. I had to work during the contest, so I never could be arsed to finish the model.
