Well, haven't done any LOTR for a while, although I have GRAND plans on a diorama, so be aware. Won't be able to make the One ring awards unfortunately, because this thing has taken up all my time, Maximus the Gladiator:

Hope you like it :)

Strictly speaking this is General Maximus, not Gladiator...

Quote:
My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, Commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next....

A very good film (especially the full version with scenes truncated or cut out of the cinematic release) and a stunning soundtrack!

Good to see you are still around - loking forward to a special diorama!

I didn't expect to see something that good! The name 'Olofer' always prepares me for some amazing quality, but this one is almost perfect! Great job mate, great job.

Great wok mate!
The quality of the NMM is amazing and I love the face, the likeness
to the character is stunning.
The red on the cloak is nice but I prefer the red on the pants, it just looks...well for lack of better word......nicer! :D

Good to see you are still around,

KJ Necromancer

Love the detail on the inside of the cloak, the NMM looks flawless and as already mentioned the Russell Crowe face is identical to that in the movie! Have you got a link to the miniature site? I'd love to buy one of those prepainted

Only kidding, great job Olofér

Thanks for your comments guys, getting feedback is, as always, the best of motivators :)

I'm in the mood for some lotr now, especially since it's what the OR community thrives on! My plan is to expand the Gates of Moria diorama to include all members of the fellowship and be more exact to the Alan Lee painting. I'm pleased with my 'Gandalf at the Moria gate'-one, but it don't quite depict the painting.
I'm out of fellowship members tho, I will need another of those Gandalf's, one Legolas and one Boromir! And there will have to be serious converting. To be continued...

Realized that my previous shots were a bit blurry, so took a new one which turned out much better!
